Teague continued book illustration work with Minton, Balch & Co in 1927, this time for Swiss Family Robinson by Johann David Wyss. Originally published in 1812, the book chronicles the lives of a Swiss family shipwrecked in the East Indies for over a decade. The family was not named Robinson; the book’s title pays homage to Daniel Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe, which was published in 1719. Teague illustrated the cover and title page for the 1927 version. Both are presented below.
